Statement:	I have always been taught to strive for excellence. I feel proud and privileged that my Mother was truly my inspiration, my role model and my mentor throughout my personal and career life. Her encouragement and wisdom, along with that of my husband, has been important to me. I have been professionally inspired, encouraged and motivated by my colleagues over the years, the various school jurisdictions and colleges, like Portage College, who have afforded me great opportunities for career enhancement. Excellence involves and depends on many players.
