The Portofino Inn & Suites, located two blocks from the Convention Center, does have rooms available. Call the Anaheim Housing Bureau for details, (714) 765-8868.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS
Conference events are held at the Anaheim Convention Center and the Hilton Anaheim and Towers. A block of hotel rooms at special rates has been reserved for conference attendees. Reservations must be made through the Anaheim Housing Bureau using the following group code: CIT. (CIT must be entered in all capital letters.)

For FAX and mail reservations, print, complete, and FAX the form and use the following group code: CIT. (CIT must be entered in all capital letters.)

All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card or first night's deposit and will be confirmed on receipt. The cut-off date for reservations is October 18, 2000. Reservations received after the cut-off date will be on a space available basis only, at the group rate. Deposits will be refunded in full for all cancellations received at least 7 days prior to your arrival date. We urge you to block your hotel reservations early!

The Anaheim Hilton, Marriott, and WestCoast Anaheim hotels are approximately 30 minutes from the John Wayne Airport (also known as the Santa Ana or Orange County Airport) and 45 minutes from LAX.

The Airport Bus offers continuous service every half hour from outside the baggage claim area of the John Wayne airport to the hotels for $10 per person one way. AirportBus also has service from the center island outside LAX baggage claims from 7:30 a.m.-1:00 a.m. to Anaheim for $14 per person one way. Super Shuttle offers service for $10 per person one way from John Wayne and requires reservations, 1-800-BLUEVAN. Taxi service from the airport is approximately $30.

The League has appointed Conventions in America as its official travel company. The company guarantees the lowest fare on any airline at time of booking and offers discounts on American Airlines, as well as free travel services and benefits. Airline reservations can be made through Conventions in America by logging onto the Stellar Access site. Conference attendees will need to register as a first time user utilizing Group #339. Flight reservations through Conventions in America can also be made by calling 1-800-929-4242; refer to Group #339. Benefits include free flight insurance of $100,000, plus an additional 5-10 percent off the lowest applicable fares on American Airlines. Some restrictions apply. Travel is valid five days before and after meeting dates.

Call 1-800-433-1790 if you choose to make reservations directly with American Airlines and are calling from the United States. Refer to Index #12428 to obtain the discounted conference fare.

Special discounted rates with unlimited mileage have been negotiated for conference attendees with Hertz and are available up to one week before and one week after the event. To reserve a car at these special rates, call Conventions in America at 1-800-929-4242; refer to Group #339. If you call Hertz directly at 1-800-654-2240, ask for CV#012B0003. Cars may be picked up and dropped off at the airport or any other Hertz location in Anaheim with no additional drop-off charge.
