STEM Education Offer From LEGO Education

LEGO Education and National Instruments invite teachers, administrators, specialists, and home school teachers to a free STEM Summit, November 16, 2011, in St. Louis. The day will focus on bringing success to every student with hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math education. Learn how shape the next generation of creative problem solvers. Engage with innovative educators, administrators, and education leaders, learn how school districts and educators across the county are thinking outside the box, and collaborate with industry leaders. Hear keynote addresses by Stephan Turnipseed, President of LEGO Education North America, and Leland Melvin, NASA’s Associate Administrator for Education, as well as a variety of panels and presentations to help inspire and guide you in your STEM efforts. Panels include Using Robotics as a STEM Instructional Tool, Educator to Entrepreneur, Getting Kids Excited about STEM, Working as a 21st Century Educator, and How Technology is Shaping STEM Education.
