League Seeks Nominees for Student Technology Awards
The League for Innovation in the Community College invites all League Board and Alliance member colleges to nominate two outstanding community college technology students for the Terry O'Banion Student Technology Awards. The awards honor two deserving students with special talent in technology, strong financial need, and a passion about moving toward a career in technology. The Terry O'Banion Award winners are designated as either Student Technology Champion or Student Developer Champion, and each winner receives a check for $1,000 to be used toward educational expenses such as tuition and fees.
Nominations are being accepted through February 3, 2012. Nominators and winners will be notified prior to the Innovations 2012 conference, and winners will be announced at the Innovations 2012 General Session on Monday, March 5, 2012, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
