League Announces Capella University Scholarship
Because the League has an education alliance with Capella University, you’re entitled to many benefits that can help you make your goal of a graduate degree a reality, including a tuition discount and scholarship opportunities.
This fall, Capella is offering a unique opportunity for those interested in pursuing a doctoral degree—the Educator Advancement Scholarship and Grant.
Capella is offering one full-tuition scholarship and five $10,000 scholarships to new students who start a doctoral program at Capella in October, November, or December 2011. Applicants who meet all eligibility requirements and are not awarded a scholarship will receive a $1,600 tuition grant.
To be eligible, you must:
Be currently employed faculty and staff at an existing League for Innovation member institution.
Meet Capella University admissions requirements and be accepted into a Capella doctoral degree program.
Be a new student* starting courses with Capella University in October, November, or December 2011. (*Includes Capella alumni and former students who are reapplying to the university.)
Demonstrate a commitment to reflective practice and the belief in the human potential of all individuals to learn and develop by responding to scholarship essay questions.
Applications will be accepted until September 12, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. Central time.
