"Bold Expectations” Featured in NGLC Summer Webinar Series
Gerardo E. de los Santos, president and CEO of the League for Innovation in the Community College, will offer insights from the 21st Century Commission Report on the Future of Community Colleges during a Next Generation Learning Challenges (NGLC) Summer Learning Series Webinar to be held on Tuesday, July 17, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern.
This summer, NGLC’s Summer Learning Series of free webcasts explores critical questions facing higher education: Have learning science, technology, and policy advanced far enough that we might begin to offer degree programs that are flexible, affordable, and personalized without sacrificing quality? Even for the most at-risk students?
NGLC believes the answer is “yes” and this summer you’re invited to learn how leading experts in the field and NGLC grant winners envision the future with breakthrough strategies they are implementing today. Each one hour web seminar is free and open to all, but virtual seats are limited.
NGLC events are a unique opportunity to engage with your colleagues around some of the critical challenges facing college readiness and completion in the U.S. and to hear from leading experts and NGLC grantees about the ways that technology can facilitate change.
You can also watch archives of all NGLC webcasts on the Archived Events page. Twitter users can Tweet about NGLC events and follow the conversation using the #NGLC hashtag.
