Have Brenda Babitz Speak at Your Next Event!
As you and your staff plan for convocations, staff development days, flex days, and other professional development events for 2011, the League for Innovation in the Community College reminds you about the vast array of speakers, consultants, and trainers available through League Services.
In keeping with our commitment to provide outstanding speakers,
the League for Innovation is proud to announce that presenter and consultant Brenda
Babitz is available for your next event. Babitz,
president of the b smart group, is widely recognized for her work in helping
colleges assess their resource development strengths and shortcomings, and then
helping them craft the fundraising strategies needed to expand private sector
involvement.
Author of It Takes a Board (League for Innovation; 2010) and president of the Monroe Community College Foundation in Rochester, New York from 1990 to 2008, Babitz is often asked to share ways in which she helped shape the Monroe Community College Foundation Board into a vibrant, influential, and fully engaged fundraising body.
Frequently brought on campus to provide trustees, college presidents, foundation directors, and senior resource development officers with the tools to maximize private support, Babitz stresses the foundation's role as the single most important driver of fundraising success. Babitz can help your college clarify roles and responsibilities by providing specific examples of how to raise more funds by increasing your institution’s profile in the community. In addition to keynote presentations, Babitz can consult with senior college and foundation leaders to evaluate fundraising expectations and deliver a workshop focused on best practices, practical advice, and effective guidelines.
