Algeria: Strengthening Higher Education Preparation for the Workforce
Higher Education for Development (HED), in cooperation
with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), anticipates
making one award of up to
$600,000 for a three-year partnership to strengthen
capacity in the local workforce. For details about applying for

for the Workforce. Applications are due June 15, 2009, at 5:00 p.m. EST.
- Enhance English language studies;
- Strengthen the business curricula; and,
- Establish a career development center.
Meeting the above goals should assist undergraduates and alumni in the development of relevant skills for the local workforce.
