League for Innovation Announces New STEMtech Conference for Fall 2010
October 10, 2009, Detroit, Michigan. During the opening plenary session of the League for Innovation in the Community College’s 25th annual Conference on Information Technology (CIT), League President and CEO Gerardo E. de los Santos announced the transition of CIT into a new conference envisioned as an interactive learning experience with a strong focus on (a) science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines in general education and workforce training, and (b) uses of technology across the institution.
