Member Spotlight Article Application

All League Alliance members are invited to submit Member Spotlight articles related to a special achievement, program, partnership, activity, or other item of interest at their college. Articles submitted should be relevant to the community college field and follow these guidelines:

Article Guidelines -

Upload your article in an MS Word document (maximum 800 words, including spaces), and include the following items:

Description/Article outlining the college achievement, program, practice, partnership, activity, etc
Picture(s) can be embedded in the document (copy/paste or insert)
Name, job title, college affiliation, email address, and phone number of a primary contact person regarding the articles subject matter
When applicable, include link(s) relevant website and/or online promotional piece

FAQ What is the deadline to submit an article? Member Spotlight articles are accepted at any time throughout the year. What is the max word count? Please try to keep your article at a maximum 800 words, including spaces. Can the article include pictures? Absolutely! Please embed (copy/paste/insert) them directly into the Word document. Can we include links to relevant information? Yes, whenever possible. What happens after the article is submitted? Once received, your article will be placed in editorial calendar queue and you will be contacted prior to its use. You will be contacted prior to the article being published in the Member Spotlight. The article is time sensitive. Can a timeframe/month be requested? Yes. If you have a specific timeframe/month you would like to see yours featured, let us know when you submit the article. We will do our best to accommodate your request. For best chances of making a specific edition, please submit the article by the 15th of the month prior to the month you are requesting. Remind me again, where this article will be featured? The Member Spotlight articles are featured each month in League Connections.
