Mears Motor Shuttle
Mears Motor Shuttle operates a shared ride van shuttle service continuously from Level One at the Orlando International Airport and the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort. A typical wait time is 20-30 minutes, which can vary based on date, time of day, and business volume. Up to four hotels can be in a transfer zone.

Per-person cost for round-trip transfer via non-exclusive vans:
Adult (age 12 and older): $33.00 - $4.00 discount = $29.00 per adult
Child (ages 4-11): $26.00 - $4.00 discount = $22.00 per child

Please click here to obtain your coupon for a round-trip transfer. Upon arriving at the Orlando International Airport, proceed to one of the Mears Motor Shuttle ticket counters and present the coupon to the Mears counter attendant. After redeeming your coupon for a round-trip ticket, please present your ticket to the Mears "Starter" located on level one at the curb. The Mears "Starter" will direct you to a designated shuttle servicing the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort.

STEMtech participants can also purchase their transfer online in advance. (Choose "Dolphin Hotel at Disney" from the "Select a Location" drop down list.) However, they must still stop by the Mears Motor Shuttle counter to determine the next departing shuttle time before proceeding to the shuttle loading area.

Transfers from the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort are available 24 hours a day by reservation. For return transfers, call Mears Motor Shuttle at least 24 hours in advance to make a return reservation (800) 759-5219. The departure pick-up window is at least 2½ to 3 hours prior to flight time because of possible stops at up to three additional hotels.

• Driver gratuity is not included.
• This shuttle payment option is offered on round-trip transfers only.
• Children under age 3 are free regardless of whether a car seat or not is used.
• Mears Motor Shuttle cannot guarantee wait time at the airport for the shuttle due to varying security measures and traffic.
• The required arrival time at the airport is two hours prior for domestic flights and three hours prior for international flights. The actual hotel pick-up times will be based on the hotel pick-up schedule that will work best for all guests to ensure they arrive within the required times.
• All vehicles entering the commercial lanes are subject to being searched.
• Meeting customers at the gate is prohibited.
• Orlando International Airport Security does not change its search procedure to accommodate flight departures.
• Mears Motor Shuttle will not be liable for any hotel accommodations and/or tickets if a flight is missed due to security checks.
• All inclusions, prices and policies are subject to change until contracted.

Transportation Between Walt Disney World Dolphin and Disney Attractions
Walt Disney World provides complimentary, scheduled transportation from the Walt Disney World Dolphin throughout the Walt Disney World® Resort.

To Parks:
Buses depart from the front entrance of the Dolphin wing to the Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and all other venues every 15-20 minutes.

Water taxis take guests to Disney's BoardWalk, the Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Epcot every 15-20 minutes starting 1 hour before the parks open*. You will be able to board the water taxi from the boat dock located by the covered walkway between the Swan and Dolphin wings.

From Parks:
The same schedule applies to the return routes from the parks to the Walt Disney World Dolphin. Inquire inside the park you are visiting where the transportation you will be using is located.

A complimentary bus to the Downtown Disney area, Pleasure Island, and Downtown Disney Marketplace departs every 15-20 minutes from the front entrance of the Dolphin wing.

*Park hours do change. Please check with one of the Disney desks located in the lobby of the Walt Disney World Dolphin for the operating hours of the park you are visiting. Buses continue to run one hour after parks close.

CUT-OFF DATE
The “cut-off date” for accepting reservations into this room block is Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Reservation requests received after 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on the cut-off date will be accepted at the Resort’s prevailing rate based on availability. The Resort will allow name changes without penalty up to the cut-off date.

RATE
Single/Double: $179. This special rate will be offered three (3) days prior and three (3) days after the meeting dates of October 31 – November 3, subject to availability of rooms at the time of reservation. There are a limited number of guestrooms available at the discounted conference rate. Be sure to book your hotel reservation by Tuesday, September 28, 2010. After this date the conference rate may no longer be available.

RESORT SERVICES PACKAGE
A Resort Services Package valued at $10 (exclusive of tax) per room per day is included in the guest room rate and includes.

• Unlimited local calls and 800 number calls (up to 60 minutes; $.10 per minute charge beyond 60 minutes) and long-distance access (credit card and collect calls)
• 20 minutes of domestic long-distance access per day

STATE AND LOCAL TAXES
The room rate is quoted exclusive of applicable state and local taxes, which are currently 12.5%.

EXTRA PERSON CHARGE
$25 per night. Children under 18 years of age may stay for free in their parents' room using existing bedding.

ROOM DEPOSIT
A deposit equal to one night’s stay is required to hold each reservation. The deposit will serve to confirm the reservation for the dates indicated and, upon check-in, shall be applied to the first night of the reserved stay. This deposit is refundable if notice is received at least five (5) days prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained. All deposits shall be charged at the time the reservation is made. The Resort will allow name changes without penalty up to the cut-off date.

EARLY DEPARTURE FEE
In the event a conference participant checks out prior to the reserved checkout date, an early departure fee of one (1) night room and tax will be charged to that individual’s account. Participant’s wishing to avoid this fee must advise the Resort at or before check-in of any change in the scheduled length of stay. The Resort will allow name changes without penalty up to the cut-off date.
