Learning-Centered Ph.D. for Community College Leaders
Addressing the community college leadership crisis in a serious way requires a
curriculum that is specialized for community colleges, establishes program
components keyed to standards, meets specific student objectives, and involves
experienced community college leaders as faculty. Terry O'Banion and Walden
University, an accredited online university, are developing a learning-centered
curriculum for Walden's Community College Leadership doctoral program. Session
participants are invited to share their ideas and opinions about the content of
such a curriculum.
