of a Multidisciplinary Nanotechnology Curriculum
The presenters discuss the development of a consortium-built nanotechnology curriculum that first focuses on basic science and progresses to nanotechnology training relevant to biotechnology, agriculture, energy, medicine, and electronics. The curriculum, developed by K-12, two-year, and university educators involves not only classroom work, but also lab exercises and internships at nanotechnology companies and facilities. Session participants discuss the process, decisions made, organization, and challenges involved in the development of a multidisciplinary nanotechnology curriculum.
