Access to
Teacher Education: Online Academic Advising and Professional Development
Participants in this session explore teacher shortages, the roles of two- and
four-year colleges, minority recruitment, and technology by learning about an
online advising system used by high-risk students on a career lattice. This
session will benefit educators interested in applications that help to fulfill
No Child Left Behind and Head Start mandates as well as articulation models for
associate and baccalaureate degrees in education.
