Proposal Format

The League is now accepting proposals for Forums on the following topics:

Crafting a Culture of Learning: Working, Growing, and Learning Together (Organizational Culture)
Answering the How-Do-We-Know Question (Quality, Inquiry, and Accountability)
Defining, Achieving, Assessing, and Documenting Learning in All Areas of the College (Learning Outcomes and Assessment)
Engaging Students from Recruitment, Enrollment, and Course Work through Career Placement, Transfer, and Lifelong Learning (Student Engagement)
Designing and Creating Environments for Learning (Learning Environments)

Program Participants
The first presenter listed is the principal contact and is responsible for coordinating all correspondence among co-presenters and the League, and for managing and facilitating the presentation. Due to space restrictions, only 3 presenters are listed in the Summit program. All presenters are required to register and pay the Summit registration fee.

Equipment Supplied by Conference Organizers
All sessions are supported with a video-data projector and screen. Internet access will also be available. If your proposal is accepted, you will be provided with complete specifications of the equipment and access available for your use. Please note that we are unable to provide computers for sessions. Presenters may bring their own equipment, but should understand that only equipment provided by the Summit organizers is supported by the Technical Support Team. The Technical Support Team cannot provide specialized cabling, drivers, software, connectors, or other out-of-the-ordinary items. Presenters assume full responsibility for the security and operation of their personal equipment.

*Presentation Title
Approximately 10 words that will catch the attention of Summit participants and accurately describe your session.

*Forum Description
Provide 75 words for the Summit Program that succinctly and accurately tells participants what to expect from your session. The description will help Summit participants determine the scope and level of the session and its appropriateness to their needs. Session descriptions should be modeled after the samples and should answer the following two questions: "What will participants in this session learn?" and "Who will this session particularly benefit?"

*Program Description
In 250 to 500 words, provide a brief description or summary of the topic, initiative, program, or practice that will be the focus of the forum, including evidence of, or a plan to evaluate, its effectiveness. If your proposal is accepted, this information will be included in the Summit program to assist participants in selecting sessions to attend. This information will be used in the proposal selection process.

All presenters are required to register and pay the Summit registration fee. Neither honoraria nor expenses are paid to program presenters. A $50 discount is available to participants from League Alliance institutions. Visit the membership section of our website for more information about Alliance membership and its benefits.

Program Changes
Summit coordinators reserve the right to make changes in proposed presentations, to place sessions in alternative program Topic Areas, and to encourage joint presentations if multiple proposals have been submitted on similar topics.

After submitting your proposal you will receive an email confirmation.
